Answer

Drawing involves creating images using lines, shapes, and shading with dry media such as pencils, charcoal, pastels, or pens.

NB - The focus is on line work, form, and value.

Painting uses wet media like watercolours, acrylics, or oils, where pigments are mixed with a liquid medium to create images.

NB - Painting emphasises colour, brush techniques, and can cover large areas more quickly than drawing.
